Founder and Senior Partner
Graduating in business and marketing in 1977 he entered the world of high finance in 1980 before setting up the company in 1983 which originally specialised in the Expatriate market. With 34 years of experience in the Financial Services industry John is a Senior Financial Adviser dealing in all aspects of Corporate and Personal Financial Planning. John has recently gained his qualification to give advice on long term care cases. Outside of work he is a woodland owner and a member of the Royal Forestry Society and can be found planting trees and making large bonfires to cook bacon and egg. Qualifying as a glider pilot in 1985 he has since gained a Private Pilot’s Licence and taken a share in a motor glider. Having been a Trustee of a charity specialising in caring for Learning and Severely Disabled people for several years, he is now serving as Chairman. John is married to Julie and lives in Stretton.
Partner, Senior Adviser and Compliance Officer
Julie is a Business graduate who has worked in Market Research, Computer Consultancy and Technical writing for multi-national firms in London before moving to Rutland to work in Financial Services with John. As well as Compliance, Julie oversees the finance and IT functions within J P Leefe & Company. Julie qualified as a Financial Adviser in 2013 having completed a Diploma in Financial Advice achieving the level 4 qualification required for RDR. Julie qualified in 2015 to advise on Long Term Care matters. Julie is a committed Christian who lives in Stretton and enjoys walking, kayaking and reading. John and Julie have three children and a small white dog.
Senior Paraplanner
Being involved in financial services for over thirty years, he has wide-ranging experience in a number of aspects of financial services; specialising particularly in group schemes and pensions. Tim lives near Oakham and says he enjoys painting and real ale (although not always at the same time).
Senior Financial Administrator
Pam’s interests include music, theatre, photography, gardening, Latin American and ballroom dancing, planes and football. She is married with three children, four grandchildren, a cat and a dog.
