Eat more biscuits to make better financial decisions
The book I am reading on financial planning, in a section on behavioural finance, informs me that “thinking about difficult decisions quickly depletes the brain’s glucose levels and when this happens we are likely to abandon glucose-consuming cognitive processes and default to our error-prone limbic system of decision making.” It’s official then, eating biscuits (or chocolate) helps us to make better financial decisions! |
